Safety Tips & Information

To ensure you get the maximum results from your candles and wax melts and  maintain safety at all times, please follow these simple user instructions.

  • Trim your wick to 3mm before each burn.
  • Let the top layer of wax liquefy and pool to the edges to avoid tunnelling - we recommend, that for every 1cm in diameter, you burn for 30 minutes - so one of our jars would be 2 1/2 hours.
  • Keep your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface to prevent heat damage to your surfaces and encourage an even burn.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Position candles away from curtains, fabrics and furniture.
  • Don’t put candles under shelves as they can burn the underside of the surface. Make sure there’s at least three feet (one metre) between a candle and any surface above it.
  • Keep out of the reach of pets and children.

Wax Melts

  • Place one segment of wax in your burner and add a tea light underneath and light the wick.  Keep using new tea-lights until you can no longer smell the scent - Please ensure you don't overfill your burner.
  • Once the wax is spent, wait until the wax cools and then gently place pressure on one end of the wax until it pops out. You could also use cotton balls/pads to soak up melted/molton wax and then dispose accordingly.
  • Do not use wipes and/or cleaning chemicals/products to clean the burner. Do not use metal or sharp objects to clean out wax as this may crack or damage the burner or cause injury.
  • Please check packaging for allergen advise.
  • Keep out of the reach of pets and children.
  • Although some items may look as if they are edible - they are not!
